Retail software for hemp shops
Your lab reports already know what to recommend.
Every product you stock arrives with a certificate of analysis, and then it sits in a folder. TerpIQ reads your inventory and those reports, and turns them into a matching tool your customers can use — plus the shelf analytics you have never been able to get.
No credit card for the trial. Most shops are live the same day.
Built alongside White Label Exotics, Asheville NC — a working shop, on their real menu and their real lab reports.
The gap
Shelf talk is not a system.
Most shops run on strain names and whoever happens to be behind the counter that day. A nervous first-time customer gets folklore, hesitates, and leaves with less than they came for — or nothing.
In the PDF
The exact chemistry of the exact lot on your shelf is already documented. Nothing in your shop reads it.
On the floor
Two staff give two different answers to the same question, and neither can point at why.
In the order
You buy from a rep’s recommendation and last month’s sell-through, with no record of what customers asked for and did not find.
How it works
Three steps, and you are running.
No integration project, no consultant, no data cleanup weekend.
- 01
Bring in your inventory
Upload a CSV or spreadsheet and map your columns once — TerpIQ remembers the layout, so every re-upload after that is one click. Or point it at your POS and let it sync overnight.
About 10 minutes, once.
- 02
Add your lab reports
Drop in a COA PDF and TerpIQ reads the cannabinoid and terpene figures off it. You check the numbers against the document side by side, then commit the batch. Anything the extraction was unsure of is flagged for you.
Under 2 minutes per batch.
- 03
Publish your finder
Your customers answer five short questions and get matched against what is actually in stock tonight, using your batch figures rather than generic strain averages. Publish when you are ready — until then only you can see it.
Live the same day.
Analytics
Find out what your shelf could not answer.
Every finder session records what the customer asked for and how well your inventory could serve it. When the answer is “not well”, that becomes a line on your next order.
Assortment gaps
Demand your shelf missed, ranked, with a plain-language buying suggestion and the terpene target behind it. Export to CSV and take it to your rep.
Batch consistency
When a new lot of the same product tests meaningfully differently from the last, you get told — with a note your staff can actually read to a customer.
Coverage
What share of your active products have a committed lab report behind them, and which ones are still running on generic figures.
Three surfaces, one engine
Wherever your customer is standing.
The same matching engine and the same inventory behind all three. Set it up once.
Your own page
A finder at your own URL, carrying your logo and your colour. Link it from your menu, your bio, or a QR code on the shelf.
In-store kiosk
Full-screen mode for a tablet on the counter. Resets itself between customers and takes a staff PIN to exit.
Embedded widget
One script tag drops the finder into the site you already have. It loads on its own without blocking your page.
Pricing
One plan. $149 a month, per location.
Everything in the product, no feature tiers, no per-seat charges, and no percentage of your sales. Add a second location when you open one.

Questions
Before you sign up.
- Do I need to be technical to set this up?
- No. The longest step is exporting a product list from whatever you already use, and TerpIQ walks you through mapping the columns. Shops that keep inventory in a spreadsheet are the normal case, not the exception.
- What if my products have no lab reports attached yet?
- The finder still works — it falls back to typical published figures for each strain and labels them as typical rather than batch-verified. As you add COAs, those products switch over to your own numbers and the labelling changes to match.
- Does TerpIQ sell anything to my customers?
- No. TerpIQ has no cart and takes no payment from your customers. It recommends products from your own inventory and hands the customer a short code to show at your counter. Every sale happens in your store, on your terms.
- Who owns the data I put in?
- You do. Your inventory, your lab reports, and your finder activity belong to your shop, and each shop’s data is isolated from every other shop at the database level rather than by application code. You can export at any time, including after you cancel.
- What happens when a new batch of the same product tests differently?
- TerpIQ compares it against the previous batch and flags meaningful changes — a different dominant terpene, a large swing in a major one, a notable potency change. Small variations are ignored on purpose, because an alert that fires constantly is an alert nobody reads.
